The inaugural Research Open Week, is brought to you by the Office of the Vice President for Research to showcase the Science and Engineering Excellence at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
We want to take this opportunity to celebrate and share the work we do with our valued partners through presentations, demonstrations, and discussions. The theme of Sustainability: Science for the Future has been chosen to provide a positive outlook in a post-pandemic world that resonates across all research areas and is of significant relevance to the Kingdom.
Throughout the week, KAUST will present selected highlights from its science and engineering research across our major focus thrusts of Energy, Environment, Water, Food & Health, and the Digital domain. In addition, the KAUST Core Labs and Research Centers will also provide an Open Doors opportunity to come and explore what we do.
The event further offers a unique forum for a broader discussion on sustainability in the Kingdom and provides networking opportunities between faculty, research staff, colleagues from industry and government, and the wider society.
Join us for live Science on the Spine and all-access interviews with our Scientific Experts. Experience our Start-up Space and Scientific demos and listen to sustainability experts from across the globe. Take part in an audience with McLaren F1 driver Lando Norris ahead of the inaugural Jeddah Grand Prix.
